We now send photos by email and have just finalized the system today.
The new packaging has been implemented to reduce plastic use (3 times lighter in 100g format (4x25g for example) and 12 times lighter with the first variation.

David vanilla is a serious site, the products are of quality, no problems. The delivery is ultra-fast. The only downside, but this is for the team, is that it is over-packaged. When ordering 150g of curry, you receive 3 small plastic bags of 50. Same for hibiscus flowers (Bissap). It's a shame.

Always top quality spices, the only downside on this order was a delivery delay due to a repackaging by the Post, the package having been damaged. The box was far too light and probably did not withstand the careless handling (we know it) of the different providers! Nothing was missing except maybe if there was a gift!

Hello, There are several corrections to be made to your review. Cheaper? I have traveled a lot and if I have learned one thing, it is that cheap costs dear. Find better - Mediocre quality? We are not resellers of low-priced packets, we do not put flour in our blends. There are only certain neighborhoods (previous modified review) where you can find cheaper, look on Google if finding 'cheap' is child's play. Sourcing: We work with more than a dozen countries, it is our job, not an importer of speculative tonnage that we store for years to end up in small 'cheap' packets. Mediocre product quality: We work with the latest harvests. It is almost impossible nowadays to find similar freshness and a team of enthusiasts who select as close to the plantations with all the logistics and associated costs that this entails. We are counted on the fingers of one hand in France for this type of range. Best wishes, David

Hello, Here is the description of the 40 vanilla pods (see product sheet) that you got on promotion for only 35.24€ or 0.88€ per pod. The red vanilla pods from Uganda are drier than other qualities, but they are also rich in vanillin. This means they contain a higher concentration of vanillin, which is responsible for the characteristic flavor and aroma of vanilla. We invite you to rehydrate these vanilla pods in a bit of alcohol to triple their volume and preserve them for years (see dark photo = rehydrated, light = upon receipt before rehydration). Some pods may be split as they were picked in over-ripeness on the vanilla plant (peak of vanilla aromas).
