Despite the issues with the previous order where the vanilla pods had molded after a while perhaps due to poor storage, I placed another order and put the pods in an airtight jar with a bit of alcohol following the advice from the David vanilla site for good preservation.
With my first orders, I had not had any problems.
I met David a few years ago at the markets in Guadeloupe, he is really a specialist in vanilla and spices.
