Top express delivery, excellent duck and goose fois gras, even if I have my doubts about the fact that they are canned blocks but rather reconstituted, which at room temperature becomes foam, but the taste was there, not salty, perfect. The only drawback, hence my 4 stars, is the opening of the packaging, or rather the fact that not even a capsule was opened on some tins, so a can opener was almost compulsory, but as these tins had travelled to the US and weren't opened with an old-fashioned knife, they weren't great at all. Only one had 2 capsules to open both sides, ideal for not damaging the foie gras. So it's a pity that the other 6 tins were "butcher's", with a shabby presentation for tasting. On the other hand, I'd recommend them in jars for consumption in France, as the site is top-notch and so are the fois gras.

Hello Sarah, thank you for your positive comment! The products are indeed blocks of foie gras and not mousse. It can indeed be complicated to open certain blocks of foie gras which do not always have an easy opening...

Great product but the DHL courier is a disaster. They said they tried 2 times to deliver but they didn't and in the end I was forced to drive miles to be able to pick up the package!

Those are certified productions from small cooperatives in the South-West of France and there isn't much higher quality available on the market. We suggest looking into our Label Rouge products or maybe try other brands in our selection.
