Hello, thank you for your comment. The opening of the net consists of clips on the left and Velcro on the right to have a higher level of safety than other nets. You ultimately have 2 thicknesses of net at the opening. This system is stronger than a zipper (which can break but is not easily repaired) and it is not more complicated to use.
