I understand that you can't send everything for free, but we had ordered the wrong size. Sending it back was very expensive, a parcel post to France. We did find that objectionable. But the beret basque is beautiful.

Hello, I placed 2 orders on the same day, the first (2 caps) was delivered free of charge. Well, I've ordered 3 basques, summer basques mind you, but I'll get to that. Black, red and beige. The quality is very good, they fit perfectly, a tad bigger would be good, but still great. But, and here's the reason why I wouldn't order them again, they're not washable. I can't understand a summer basque in beige that you can't wash.

the quality of the cotton is nowhere near that of the bandanas of 20-30-40 years ago The cotton is of medium thickness, loosely woven. it feels rather rough to the touch (even after machine washing and drying) I would have preferred to pay more and have the bandanas in a softer, more tightly woven cotton, like a pocket handkerchief.
