I understand that you can't send everything for free, but we had ordered the wrong size. Sending it back was very expensive, a parcel post to France. We did find that objectionable. But the beret basque is beautiful.

Warm, comfortable and "elegant" (in a bourgeois Parisian kind of way), but you can also dent it a bit to give it a less formal look. I haven't tested it in the rain.
