Hello and thank you for your feedback following your recent order on our online store. As indicated on the site page, the pipe you chose is indeed without a filter. On this model, it is the sea foam part that takes on the role of the filter. The natural porosity of the foam allows it to absorb a large part of the impurities. Additionally, it has the advantage of not fearing heat, which makes this briar pipe even more interesting. The photos of the pipes could be a bit larger. It is difficult to distinguish between a matte finish and a polished finish.

We do try to photograph our pipes with the best possible quality but it is still difficult to achieve a rendering that perfectly matches the reality of the product once in hand. On the site, we also offer a 360° view that allows you to observe the item from all angles. Looking forward to meeting you directly in our pipe shop in Saint-Claude in the Jura!

Moreover, we ensure to take care to properly package the products to avoid any incidents during transport. As indicated in our previous email exchanges, if the pipe does not suit you perfectly (and it has not been used of course), you can definitely return it to us for an exchange for another model or for a refund.
