Hello and thank you for your feedback following your recent order on our online store. As indicated on the site page, the pipe you chose is indeed without a filter. On this model, it is the sea foam part that takes on the role of the filter. The natural porosity of the foam allows it to absorb a large part of the impurities. Additionally, it has the advantage of not fearing heat, which makes this briar pipe even more interesting. The photos of the pipes could be a bit larger. It is difficult to distinguish between a matte finish and a polished finish.

We do try to photograph our pipes with the best possible quality but it is still difficult to achieve a rendering that perfectly matches the reality of the product once in hand. This is my second purchase (recently by the way) at 'Pipe Rit' and, after a first disappointment regarding the finish of two St Claude pipes, I wanted to believe it was an 'incident'. Second purchase of two pipes worth over 150 Euros... one of them surprised me. Indeed, due to a lack of precise information on the website (weight, length, height, and depth of the bowl, etc.), it does not correspond at all to the idea I had from the photo and I will therefore not use it. Too bad. For my next pipes, I will look at other sites.

Then, we obviously depend on the delivery services. During this month of November 2020, BPost (the Belgian Post) indeed experienced significant saturation in sorting centers due to a considerable number of parcels to be delivered. This is why the delivery time was longer than usual (generally, it takes 3-4 days). On www.pipe.fr, the shipping cost to Belgium is €8, regardless of the number and weight of the ordered items.
