Generally, it should always be possible to hold the pipe in hand without it being uncomfortable. If you feel that the pipe is hot, you should let it extinguish and cool down before relighting it. Furthermore, we also reminded you that it is essential to regularly clean your pipes using appropriate accessories for pipe maintenance. According to our general sales conditions, your pipe cannot benefit from the warranty as it is not a manufacturing defect but rather clumsy use. Briar pipes with a bowl lined with meerschaum can be a good solution as meerschaum better protects the wood from heat. Therefore, the briar is unlikely to get damaged even if you draw too hard. Unfortunately, the parcel of your order was returned to us by the Belgian Postal Services. Following our mail exchanges, and because you are a long-time customer, we sent the parcel of your order one more time for free. The new shipping fees were therefore offered as compensation for the gas bottles that couldn't be delivered in Belgium. We are however glad to know that you received the parcel of your order.
