Besides the photo showing the disassembled pipe (where you can see that it is without a filter), we have taken care to indicate this particularity in the 'Characteristics' section. At this point, it is specified 'Without filter'. In any case, if this pipe does not fully meet your expectations, it is entirely possible to return it to us for an exchange or a refund. If needed, you can slightly spread the two legs so that the filter stays well in place in the bowl. By making this adjustment, it will fit perfectly to the diameter of the hole (3 or 4 mm) of your different pipes.

Indeed, curing is essential on a new pipe as it protects the wood from heat. For this, we recommend putting little tobacco on the first 10 pipes and then gradually increasing the tobacco dose to create a uniform protective layer throughout the chamber. At La Pipe Rit, we only sell new pipes. The marks you see inside the bowl are completely normal; they are simply marks left by the tools used by the pipe artisans during the manufacturing of the pipes.
