Like all pipes from the Vauen Caro collection, the model you chose is designed with a briar bowl and an acrylic stem. We confirm that it is not resin but wood. The craftsman then applied a black lacquer to bring more originality. Hello, the package arrived well, however the stainless steel pot for tobacco is a Chinese product and the top of the hygrometer is cracked, which I repaired with glue. Being in Guadeloupe, the box must have been mishandled, so please include bubble wrap to ensure the integrity of the items.

Due to the very nature of corn cobs, corn cob pipes are indeed more fragile than briar pipes. However, a Missouri Meerschaum pipe can last for years if you take care to handle it carefully, maintain it regularly, and especially smoke extremely gently. One improvement to suggest: the delivery service (if I remember correctly Chronopost) which does not offer a delivery time slot or delivery to a relay point. This is an important detail in my eyes to organize my day better.

Very good customer service. Regarding my Danish pipe order, Compass.. the tip is not acrylic but soft ebonite or plastic. A small stock of replacement tips for after-sales service would be wise. Otherwise, the pipe is light and very pleasant to smoke.
