This order followed an issue with a previous pipe purchase, the latter had a fatal defect, the customer service was impeccable, fast, I immediately received a credit note that allowed me to buy any item available on the site.

Following a crack issue on the first pipe ordered, the sales service provided me with a second one for free. It turns out that despite following the recommendations in the manual and the blog's advice for seasoning and cleaning, the new pipe broke during cleaning and is unusable. My previous pipe bought from my tobacconist lasted 40 years! It seems there is a defect in the bore of the stem or the quality of the briar.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write to us through the Avis-Vérifiés platform. Indeed, the pipe you previously purchased was exceptionally replaced. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with any other free exchanges. As indicated during our last email exchange, to prevent this mishap from happening again, you must gently disassemble your pipes. First, wait for the pipe to be completely cold, then gently pull the stem, in line with its axis, as if it were screwed onto the shank. The best way to do this is to hold the shank with one hand and the stem with the other, positioning your hands close to the joint between the two parts. By following this recommendation, you will not risk damaging your pipes during disassembly. Pipes with a very thick shank are, of course, the most robust. For your next purchase, we recommend opting for a model of this type. Do not hesitate to contact our team by email or phone if you need additional help in choosing a pipe.
