Good pipe that keeps the tobacco fresh in its flavors, I smoke quality aromatic tobaccos. One flaw: the difficulty in removing the stem to clean the pipe and change the filter. At first, I put on thick gloves and coated it with olive oil (virgin!). But that wasn't effective, so I had the idea to go to the La Pipe Rit site and found Claire's advice, which I thank, and I coated the end of the stem with a bit of soap. It's simple and it works! So, a little gentleness in German craftsmanship, it's easy. Thanks again.

Satisfied with my purchase. However, there was confusion in my mind because I thought I had bought a pipe with a diameter of 9 (and I therefore stocked the corresponding filters) and it turns out that the diameter is different. I then resorted to a metal filter, but that is not what I originally wanted. Other than that, I am satisfied with the speed of the shipment.

However, as a novice, I find that the videos offered by the site (available on YouTube) really lack practical explanation, more in-depth demonstration, close-ups, etc... A machining problem on a pipe that was very quickly resolved with a phone call, with an exchange that was done by mail shortly after: very good customer service. I temper to four stars and not five because the return shipping costs of the defective pipe were at my expense, apart from that excellent pipe house that I recommend.
