9.6 liters x2 is enough for a small apartment... Well filled and well packed it's quite heavy so if you're hesitating with the 15L you are warned ^^ - I would add however that I would have liked the top lid to be airtight it is not... also it is not "clip-on" it is just "placed" it is a problem if you live with curious animals, or for transport (personally I put tape on 4 edges to keep it closed). I say this because I doubt that the rubberized packer that acts as a "seal" will last over time, and that eventually it will be defective in its sealing function.
