The number of ceramic beads per liter is not an "exact science" and depends on the initial quality of the water. It is considered that about 15 beads are needed for 0.75 to 1 liter of water, and we do not wish to encourage overconsumption (this is sufficient in 95% of cases). However, when the water is heavily chlorinated or hard, more beads need to be used, up to 30 beads per liter of water, to achieve a perfectly neutral taste.
