Overall my shopping experiences on Matériel-vélo have always been good. For the last 3, I had some inconveniences: for one, I received a pair of shorts in a different color than requested and since it's white, I haven't used it yet (maybe for the home trainer, as a last resort). For the second to last, I ordered Biemme shorts, which I had been very happy with during a previous order, but it turned out they were not of the same quality - not long distance, thin padding. During the last one, I made a mistake on Shimano shoes (both too small and not having the same reference as the known and tested ones I wanted). The return is at my expense, so I gave these shoes to someone close. Otherwise, the site works well

Very satisfied with the product and the experience on the website. However, the delivery process with DPD was catastrophic: I had requested delivery to a pickup point. This was not done (reason given: package too large), then I requested home delivery which was also not done. I ended up going to pick up my package at the warehouse. A significant wait, agents on site struggling to find the packages. I ended up in the warehouse looking for my package. An agent finally managed to find it. Fortunately, my purchase was in good condition. However, I lost half a day as I had initially planned to pick it up at a pickup point. I no longer wish to ship my purchases via DPD. The previous experience a year ago was also unfortunate. I will not finalize my purchases if the only delivery option offered is this company.

I can only be disappointed Home trainer received but once assembled I notice it has a defect I am returning it but I am told that it is now considered as a warranty issue and that it has been sent directly back to the manufacturer So now I have no home trainer and not even sure to get it back... when a direct replacement or refund would have been so quick and so customer-friendly...

I give 3 for a late shipment that apparently was left in the lockers ?????...... Strangely, as soon as I made my complaint, the package arrived 2 days later! Just a little email from Materiel Velo that it was abnormal for the delivery time. A small gesture would have been welcome with apologies. Otherwise, nothing to complain about the site and the products with the prices. JC
