I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Shoe Sticks. The Shoe Sticks, like the Clothes Sticks, are designed to withstand approximately 40 machine wash cycles at a maximum temperature of 60°C. However, they must be affixed to a non-woven backing, such as the composition labels for garments. The same applies to footwear: your Shoe Sticks will go through the machine without a hitch as long as they don't rest on a woven backing. For sneakers, in which the heel is often woven, we recommend applying the stick to the composition label under the tongue of the shoe where appropriate.
