I am a bit disappointed with the multiplication pack at 17€. I may have made the wrong choice.
My 9-year-old son did not engage at all. I thought I could cast it on my TV but I can't. On my phone, it's not great.
For each multiplication, you have to hit play again. So he quickly stopped...
I should have maybe taken a DVD to put on the TV.

Hello,
We are sorry for the problem encountered.
However, there is something you need to do for it to stick:
>> you need to have him verbalize, that is to say, ask him to answer questions while looking at the images or videos: this is the key to creating mental images. He will then be surprised to see how quickly he has created mental images that allow him to be a champion of the tables! Here is a video in which I show you how to do it with the example of 8x8: https://youtu.be/cn_graKfvyY
>> You can show him this model video. And then you can do the same with the videos of 7x7, 7x8, and 7x9 that follow from this same link. Tell him that world memory champions do this to memorize hundreds of digits in a few minutes! This is really the most effective memorization strategy for memorizing numerical facts like multiplication tables. This technique derives its effectiveness from the fact that it is modeled on the natural functioning of the brain. Can you tell me if having him verbalize helped him enter the method?
This online version has 3 advantages:
- the videos are in high definition
- it can be used on smartphone, tablet, and computer
- there is a coloring of all multiplications in PDF format offered
You just need to write the access link received by email in your workstation's internet browser.
