I find that the material of the bumper is very thin, I had taken it to prevent it from hurting itself, it hasn't changed anything.

The 3D fabric of the bumper is indeed intentionally thin, as it is breathable.
However, even with this thin material, the bumper is designed to prevent the baby from passing their arm or leg between the bars, thus avoiding pinching or uncomfortable awakenings.
We understand that this may be surprising if one expects a "cushion" effect, but the design priority remains primarily breathability.

Two bought with a few foam intervals! Parents are reassured and sleep much more peacefully. Just one thing, don't forget to unplug when taking the baby out of the bed, otherwise alarm guaranteed! I highly recommend.
