The review company did not tell mr which of my purchases they are asking me to review. My guess is that it's the Oenologic wine box. I ordered the deluxe version that is silkscreened with beautifully rendered colors and makes a fun object. I finished it with 3-4 coats of varnish which gave it an expensive look. It's not a difficult solution but is fun to see in action. Well worth the money - but I do wish it cost less to ship things to the US. Ah well, c'est la vie. By the way, when I looked at the wood skeletons that were left after removing the parts, I stacked them together, stained several of them and the result was a nice, industrial, steam-punk like piece of "art" that we've hung in our living room. Recycling works well!

I gave a mini punk top to my nephew, very happy. My 11-year-old daughter made (with me) a very good Minipunk box and is very happy. I am doing the Mécanigma, very meticulous but exciting, lacking some precision on the parts to be varnished. At a certain stage, it is indicated to varnish all the parts, but only some parts are small blocking pegs and we have to sand them to insert them because of the varnish layer.

Incredible object, it took me about 3 hours and 30 minutes to assemble, but without real difficulty thanks to clear instructions (diagrams, plates and numbered parts, highlighting the more sensitive points) and the additional elements already provided (wood glue, paraffin, sandpaper) allowing me to start without waiting! The final box looks really good - by the way, even the cardboard in which all the pieces were delivered - all protected by an additional wooden frame - has style! The unlocking mechanism is not very complex (especially when you have assembled the box necessarily); it will nonetheless make a superb gift with a good bottle inside! Nothing to complain about, except that it's excellent!

I recently purchased Scriptum Luxe and am currently working on it. I have finished the construction of the box and am starting on the labeling and putting the outer designs on the box. This not a difficult puzzle to put together (like Tetra) but it demands precision as the inlay material is VERY thin and easily tears. You develop a technique to avoid this by making sure your cutting blade is really sharp and you don't pull too hard as you cut. Also when sanding to make sure the parts fir properly and glide in their pathway - be gentle - just a little sanding at a time. It is easy to remove material but not possible to add it back if you "oversand". They include many extra pieces of the thin material, however, as usual, don't tell you which ones they are! So, I find myself going through the instructions and counting how many times a part is used to see if there are extras. Unless you are a professional "cutter-outer" you will mess up once in a while, so the extras are invaluable. It is obvious as you work through constructing the box and the detail work involved in the Luxe version, that NKD spent a lot of time making this kit - it shows. Anyway, this is a great puzzle to make, and assuming I successfully complete it, will be a fine addition to my NKD puzzle collection. P.S. When the instruction say to not use "wood glue" in the thing veneers - believe them! Only use the acrylic glue, the wood glue makes the veneer curl! Also, do not "over-varnish" (a little at a time) - very thinly - or the pieces will curl and lift away. BE PATIENT!

While assembling, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the entire kit, from the packaging to the accessories, I recommend it to all art enthusiasts ✨

It's hard to give an opinion on the product since I haven't started assembling it yet (and it will take a while), but I'm not worried about the quality; this isn't my first purchase. The package was perfectly protected.

Smaller than I'd imagined for the price, and delivered straight from the box without a storage box, which could be used as a gift, perhaps with a user manual, even if the aim is to discover the logic yourself.
