Hello, As indicated on the product sheet, the turbine you ordered is intended for the 6CV 2-Stroke engine. If you have a 2-Stroke engine, the turbine should match, you need to check that you do not have a clogged water lift tube or a problem with the water pump seal. Regarding the cables, we do not understand the problem. You ordered Mercury 600A cables which means first generation.
These cables are perfectly compatible with this case, and on the motor side they are compatible with all Mercury motors requiring this type of cables. Perhaps you have a motor requiring cables with threaded ends. In that case, if you still have the original boxes of the cables, please contact us for an exchange.

You received a TOHATSU water pump kit because the MERCURY water pump kit was not available. It is not an adaptable kit as you indicate but indeed an original part. In case you may not know, your engine is manufactured by TOHATSU. These are the same parts 100% coming from the same factory. Only the label on the product is different.

If you use the hose with another distributor, it may not fit.
