The quality was not there for the last order. Apparently, the truffles had been left in stock. The whole batch was very dry and tasteless. One of them even developed a layer of mold the day after delivery.

Well packaged and delivered on time, well protected. I regret that TWO JARS of the same product are not airtight and that the very strong smell of the truffle diffuses throughout the cupboard, and even beyond, even when putting the jars in another Tupperware-type box. This has never happened to me and it is not pleasant, nor for the persistent smell (a house scented with truffle why not but it is not my choice). There has clearly been a problem... I was waiting thinking it might be the transport, or other products that had touched in the factory, I cleaned the outside of the jars but nothing to do.

I've already ordered truffles several times online and this time I'm very disappointed, especially as I'd opted for the EXTRA quality. The smell was fine, but the taste was very disappointing considering the price. And the packaging wasn't exceptional either. For the same price or even less, I can find it in shops in Belgium. DON'T FORGET YOUR TYPE OF PRODUCT.

The term "extra" simply refers to the visual aspect of the truffle, which must be round and regular enough to be defined as an extra quality truffle. In no way does this affect the taste and fragrance of the fresh truffle. Packaging is the most conventional for fresh truffles. It's all about keeping the product, which is perishable, in suitable packaging for transport, nothing more.
