The delivery person does not ring, does not knock, I am not deaf. Just because the gate is open, and the car is out, does not mean the delivery notice should be put directly in the mailbox.

Purchased a very expensive bottle vintage 1979 Gran Reserva Macallan whisky from merchant. Upon receiving and tasting it, it was apparent that the whisky was significantly degraded, likely from inappropriate and damaging storage conditions over the years. Sent an email complaint directly to merchant but no response.

While it's true that we only had 2 bottles of Triennes in stock instead of 3, we'd like to remind you that we contacted you about the missing third bottle and offered you another one instead (a Gewurztraminer from Stoeffler; more expensive but offered for the same price as the Triennes), to replace the missing third one. You agreed to this, thanked us for the offer at the time, and the issue was resolved.
