Hello, One bag out of two was torn during delivery, we reported it to the delivery person (as you told us to do by phone) but there has been no follow-up. We lost less than half a bag but given the price of the grains, we would have appreciated a gesture from you (which you also mentioned during the call).

The Reverdy MINERAL OLIGOVIT comes in two forms; EASY DOSE (= large granules) and vermicelli. For horses aged one year or older, both versions of the CMV (Mineral and Vitamin Supplement) can be suitable.
Indeed, for younger horses, under 1 year old, we recommend giving the vermicelli version.
Each horse is unique, and some horses not used to this format may sometimes need to be a little "conditioned" to eventually appreciate it. If this hasn't been done yet, don't hesitate to contact our nutrition advisor team so we can help you ;)

Upon receiving my order, one bag was torn at the start from Reverdy because the outer packaging was intact. Apparently, the fault was attributed to the carrier who was not at fault....... Please know that we take great care in preparing your orders. However, it is not excluded that an incident may occur during transport. It has already happened that the carrier re-wraps the goods, in which case the pallet may seem intact from the outside, while bags may be torn inside.
In this case, please do not hesitate to make reservations on the delivery note, specifying the nature of the damage and the affected product (if possible, take a photo of the damage) and then inform us.
This will allow us to file a complaint with the carrier to compensate you.

This time the "mineral-oligovit" bag has a very strong smell (at the parcel relay, the package was wrapped in plastic due to the smell!) and the elements are very hard to the point that I have 2 horses that do not eat them. I tried to break them but a small hammer is needed!! I wish to exchange this product.

The smell of MINERAL OLIGOVIT is related to the active ingredients that make up the CMV, vitamins, and trace elements. We have added an apple flavor to "mask" this smell as much as possible, thus facilitating the intake of CMV by horses.
Regarding the hardness of the product, it is necessary for sufficient retention of the product, without disturbing the horse's chewing.
Tests were conducted during the product development with the horses from our Reverdy Research Center.
With each production, we also check the hardness of the EASY DOSE units using a piston that measures the force required to break the 15mm diameter pellet of EASY DOSE. And for your information, we apply proportionally the same force (or even a little less) as that applied to the pellets (5mm in diameter) of our Reverdy feeds.
The EASY DOSE pellets may seem hard for a human being but are perfectly suitable for a horse, which has very powerful jaws (*for a horse with healthy dental tables).
