I thought the bags I had ordered were flakes, but in the end they were granules. The picture doesn't correspond to what I received and I was supposed to have a measuring cup, but I didn't. Despite everything, the quality of the delivery, the quality of the after-sales service and the quality of the granules are top notch.

Our Reverdy ADULT ENERGY food does indeed come in pellet form. On the website, as well as on the feed's technical data sheet, the photo clearly shows this pellet form. Could you give us a few details about the image you're talking about? Where did you see it?
All our feeds are available in pellet form (or in pellets with a few corn flakes to boost energy intake).
Pelleting ensures better preservation and a similar distribution of ingredients. It guarantees stability, homogeneity and balance.
What's more, our food is pelletized using steam, without the use of molasses, a sugar by-product that can be responsible for pathological disorders such as esophageal blockages, gastric ulcers and behavioral disorders.
Flaking significantly increases the digestibility and therefore the glycemic index of cereals. Foods rich in flakes (known as "flakes") therefore have a high glycemic index, especially as they often contain molasses. Excessive consumption of flakes therefore favors/aggravates overweight, gastric ulcers, behavioral disorders, muscular disorders ("blood strokes"), joint disorders (OCD), and metabolic disorders (EMS, Cushing's syndrome).

Absolutely perfect product. There's just one little hitch, the very strong smell that perfumes my car and my hands, my pockets, my backpack...3 of my horses love it, but the youngest doesn't at all. I thought I'd get him used to it by putting a small dose in wet granules, as is sometimes necessary for certain supplements, but nothing happened. If you have any advice, I'd love to hear from you.

Concerning the smell, it is linked to the active ingredients that make up the CMV, the vitamins and trace elements. An apple flavoring is added to "mask" the smell as much as possible and make it easier for horses to take the CMV (on its own).
For horses that are a little hesitant, you can try leaving a few units of MINERAL OLIGOVIT EASY DOSE out in the open air (for 24 hours, for example) to ensure that the smell subsides, then try again a little later. More delicate horses usually get used to it gradually.
But if by "little one" you mean a young horse, we recommend the 'EASY DOSE' format of OLIGOVIT MINERAL for young horses from 1 year of age. For younger horses (under 1 year), OLIGOVIT MINERAL is available in vermicelli form.

I'm sorry that your range doesn't include "dry" cereal-free pellets, as rehydration in the middle of the meadows can quickly become restrictive. Otherwise, the delivery service is very good with the appointment, but it's a shame that you can't be delivered without having to sign for the parcel.

The absence of cereals in our CEREAL FREE food, combined with its high fiber content, requires more insalivation and chewing than a conventional food. That's why we recommend giving this food in small quantities, and wet beforehand (e.g. 1L of CEREAL FREE with around 2 to 3L of warm water), which will make chewing easier and prevent any esophageal blockage problems already reported in very rare cases.
If you wish to distribute it dry, you may consider mixing the 1L of CEREAL FREE with 1 to 2L of Reverdy FIBRES NATURELLES (https://www.reverdy.fr/fr/fibres-naturelles) (i.e. 50 to 100g per meal). The fiber intake will encourage better chewing of the ration (with greater saliva production), thus helping to prevent esophageal "blockages". However, this measure is less reliable than soaking the feed before distribution.
As regards delivery, we systematically ask for a signature to confirm receipt of your order.

Otherwise, we adapt the ration on a case-by-case basis, according to the horse's needs and any pathologies it may be suffering from: overweight/obesity, metabolic disease, poor body condition, etc.
Then, in addition to a balanced daily ration (based on forage and supplemented with a CMV or concentrated feed, depending on the horse's body condition), the ration can be refined by adding nutritional supplements, to meet the horse's specific needs: lack of condition, arthrosis, stimulation of immune defenses...

Very good quality Reverdy product. But DPD the carrier is incompetent. Website and network problems. Not a single call from the delivery man. He spent 4 days at my home without telling me before dropping it off at a relay point. I paid for a home delivery, not a drop-off. REVERDY are very competent unlike the carrier.
