A whole week to obtain a simple bottle of rum deliverable according to the site in '48/72h', order placed on Friday evening, parcel prepared and transport slip issued on Monday (according to the carrier!), but the parcel was only handed over to the carrier ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON! As a result, delivery at the last minute on Friday afternoon. This bottle was ordered for a birthday, and it was very close to not arriving on time. During this time, no explanation about a possible delay. The information on the Mondial Relay site is often updated with delays. Furthermore, on our site for Mondial Relay, we do not indicate '48/72h' but rather 'Delivered in 4 working days* for an order placed before 1:00 PM between Monday and Friday, 5 days otherwise (*Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays are not working days)'. Since you placed the order on Friday after 1:00 PM, if we count 5 working days, it is indeed the following Friday, the date on which you received your parcel. If you want it to go faster, it is better to choose colissimo (3 days) or even chronopost (J+1). Mondial Relay is cheap but quite slow, whether for a bottle of rum or anything else. I contacted customer service to report a bug in the billing and shipping addresses before the delivery was made. Unfortunately, nothing changed and I couldn't retrieve my package and had to redirect it at my own expense to another address.
