Regarding shipping costs, it should be noted that each bottle weighs approximately 1.5 kilograms, which results in relatively high shipping fees compared to other "light" products. Therefore, it is necessary to compare with the competition in the sector: we are the only ones offering delivery to a pickup point for €4.90. It is written all over the site, notably: on the home page in the description of the offer "La Box sur Mesure", in the shop on each product thumbnail if you click on the "i" for information next to "Add" the sample to the cart, and finally in the order we added a mandatory checkbox as soon as you have at least one sample in your cart "I have acknowledged the sample offer (acknowledge the offer)", knowing that you can click on acknowledge the offer and you have all the explanations including the fact that it is P.E.T. right at the beginning of the text. But of course, despite all the precautions we have taken, it is still possible to overlook it, and we are sorry that you did not see it. Thank you for this comment. Regarding the PET samples, it's a choice we stand by (and it's clearly stated in the offer that we remind you of at the time of the order) and it allows for zero breakage. Moreover, just like glass, PET perfectly preserves rum for years. As for the box we have recently offered, we could have increased the samples by a few tens of cents to finance the boxes, but that wouldn't have been fair for those who do not need the box. This is also a deliberate and accepted choice. The whole team wishes you a very happy year 2017!

For now, we mainly hold events in the Île-de-France region, although we have occasionally done some in other regions (Blois, Bordeaux...). Try contacting Whisky Lodge; they are a wine merchant in Lyon, and they are very good and also sell rum.

The announced delivery times are calculated based on the promise of the transport company (Colissimo, Mondial Relay, etc.) + 1 day of margin, except for Chronopost which contractually promises 24 hours (if you went through Chronopost, we compensate part of the transport costs in case of delay; in this case, you need to contact our customer service). Thank you for your feedback. There is indeed an explanatory booklet included in the 'Box of the Month' set. We produce these boxes in large quantities with the same composition, so adding a booklet is quite easy to do, and we do it. However, for the 'custom' samples, we do not include explanatory sheets because we would need to print each sheet corresponding to each rum as we go, which would add an extra cost and therefore a higher price for the customer. That is why we have added a 'QR code' on each sample to easily and directly view the tasting notes and explanations provided on the website with your smartphone.
