The box of the bottle (at 100€!) was torn in several places as if it had already been opened and was therefore not presentable for a gift. We had to put black marker on the tears to hide them and we even feared that the bottle was opened but no, the seal was intact.

I love this site because I find many different rums, a wide range, sample format very appreciated. Unfortunately, my order 'guaranteed in 2 days' and paid immediately took longer than expected and I couldn't enjoy it in time as that was the purpose of my initial order. I advise not to ask questions after the order because a simple question can block the delivery anyway. Customer service is responsive but not very understanding. I regret the non-compliance with deadlines even if the rum is very good in itself

Thank you for your order. You placed the order at 6:10 PM. You then asked us a question by email at 7:35 PM. We replied the next morning at 9:17 AM. This question was BLOCKING since we needed the answer to be able to ship. However, you replied to us that evening at 5:45 PM, which was too late for same-day shipping. That's why the package left the next day, thus with a 24-hour delay. You cannot blame us: we wanted to provide you with the best possible service. Thank you for your order and your feedback. The period following your order was that of the farmers' movement, so some packages experienced delays. Moreover, Mondial Relay is the longest solution (the J+4 we display is an indicative average) but it is also the cheapest. We also have faster carriers like Chrono Relais (J+1). You can choose them when finalizing your order, but it's more expensive (+3 € for Chrono Relais).

Ordered an expensive limited release bottle from them and was offered a free sample bottle which I accepted. When the package finally arrived it had been packaged poorly causing the sample to smash and leak all over the main bottle, ruining the box and label, significantly reducing the collectors value. There was only 1 and a half inflated packaging strips with one completely deflated meaning the bottle was free moving in the carton. I contacted them hoping for an appropriate solution and was first only offered 10 followed by an increase to 15. Relative to the lost value on the order this is pretty insignificant and I'd be hesitant to order from them again as a result

Thank you for your order and your comment. We have several protection techniques depending on the contents of the package. Overall we have extremely few breakages. Regardless of the level of protection, this can happen if a package is mistreated by the carrier. These are things that happen and we are very sorry about it. Only the sample offered was broken but leaked onto the label of your bottle, the content of which is however intact. We offered you either a return at our expense, which you refused, or a discount of around 10% of your order, which you accepted.
