Purchased a Sailproof SP10S tablet for use as an on deck navigational tablet. The tablet has been in use for cruising on the west coast of Scotland, Irish Sea, English Channel, and South Brittany. Cruising has meant it has been used on both day and night passages. The Sailproof has delivered impeccable performance with excellent visibility in bright sunlight and in night time conditions. Used with open cpn and navionics software with no issues. Excellent support from the Sailproof team answering our queries promptly and professionally, a great team with extensive knowledge of sailing and their product which they use personally on their own boats. I highly recommend this product.

After a sailing season with long journeys using the tablet it appears the performances are as specified. There has been a serious issue with the GPS but the vendor has carefully followed up and provided a solution. The vendor is committed to service quality : because the ordered model couldn't be shipped on time the vendor sent a High-End model instead without additional cost. Although improvements are of course always possible, like everywhere, the tablet is of great and reliable assistance for sailing.

This is a great tablet, perfect for sailing: rugged design, solidly waterproof, and right sized for at the helm.
