You received a package in perfect condition in your mailbox (we always take a photo of the package placed in the mailbox, photo available upon request...), you left the package all day and even all night in your mailbox despite our SMS notification and a thief came by to open it and steal its contents. Since then, we have replaced the stolen resin for you free of charge even though we are not responsible for thefts in your building, as we promised you during our vacation, at our expense, resin delivered last Friday, without any confirmation from you regarding our delivery notification by SMS...
So thank you for this kind review, which I see was left during our absence...
Moreover, you rated the concerned products 1/5, not because they are bad, but because someone stole them from you.

I hadn't replied to your previous email because I thought you would jump at the chance to leave a review on the site, in the same contemptuous and completely misplaced tone. Well, that is done.
As for the response now, we have been selling Chios Mastic of the best quality for almost 20 years. This is the first time we have received a negative review of this product. There has to be a first time for everything.
If I don't know all the products on our site by heart, you have picked the wrong one, this is a product I know perfectly. The quality is absolutely superior and guaranteed. This mastic comes from the "Chios Mastiha Growers Association", hard to do better.
To conclude, I will respond to your kind specific question which was:
"It has neither the smell nor the taste of mastic.
I don't know at all what you sold me, but it's junk."
with the following:
"That is precisely the problem, you do not know what you received because you do not seem to know what Chios Mastic is and you surely had this product for the first time in your hands".

Before we responded to this review, we forwarded your review to our supplier. Here is their response:

"We take no responsibility for your customers' experiences when smoking or for what your customers do right or wrong when smoking.
There are many types of incense resins, and not every type appeals to every customer.
The white Copal we offer is imported directly from South America and is of very high quality; please take a look at our reviews for white Copal.
I would recommend the customer to place a small piece of white Copal in an incense burner and slowly warm it with a tea light to bring out the scent fully.
And if the customer does not like the scent, then it is simply an incense that does not appeal to that particular customer.
The quality of this incense is still very good!!!"
