I have found it very difficult to even repair a single scratch on the leather of my seats. When sanding and smoothing after application, to match the rest of the surface, it has always marked with a different tone at the moment of applying the liquid leather, the dye. Having to sand again...remove the painted area and leave it completely as it was initially and repeat the application but finally skipping the leather repairer. Regarding the color, I consider, at least in my particular case, black and navy blue...that especially the latter has not had the desired uniformity...the mixture of shades is clearly noticeable sometimes mixed, the color segregating, I mean...despite shaking it thoroughly. And one deficiency: the black dye did not come with the bottle having the steel ball inside to achieve the mixture when shaking. The other one did. The protective varnish is difficult to apply without drying too quickly, making the overlap point noticeable...and having to apply solvent to redo the piece completely. In general, I had higher expectations. But dealing with standard colors from the catalog. And the navy blue color obtained was very different from what was promised. It has changed the tone of the seats. In general, for my next purchase, I will resort to some other competing brand. I regret to conclude. Thank you very much. Best regards.

Following the refurbishment of my car seat, I was missing several layers of varnish to finish the job. The order went very well and the package was delivered to me in about ten days. The only complaint I can make is that the dye ordered some time ago is not the color of my seat, despite the leather sample sent. Unfortunately, 100% compatibility on synthetic surfaces does not exist, especially for furniture intended to be stored in public places. These often have non-flammable treatments that can cause problems. To achieve a good adhesion, it is absolutely necessary to properly prepare the surface, add a catalyst/hardener to the paint and varnish to achieve optimal adhesion and resistance to abrasion.
If you have any product left, it is not too late to order the catalyst and continue your renovation!

The maintenance and cleaning products are of good quality and the shipment was careful. However, the beige Luxor dye (Porsche) I received is disappointing, the color is very close but not quite the same as my original interior, and the product appears poorly mixed; despite vigorous shaking of the bottle before use, there are still clumps of darker pigments that do not mix. I suffered the consequences on a dyeing of the steering wheel center that turned into a fiasco while I was looking for a discreet and uniform repair. Perhaps the aerosol dye is a better solution?

Regarding the Beige Luxor Porsche shade, it is important to specify that the original color of the leather can evolve over time. Exposure to UV, wear, friction, products used over the years, or even the absorption of sebum gradually modify the actual shade of the leather. In this context, it becomes objectively difficult, if not impossible, to determine whether the perceived difference comes from the dye or the aging of the leather in place, particularly on a highly stressed element like a steering wheel center.
Regarding the appearance of the product, some highly pigmented shades may present a phenomenon of natural decantation. Manual shaking, even vigorous, may sometimes not be sufficient to perfectly re-homogenize the formulation; the use of a mechanical stirrer is then recommended to achieve optimal dispersion of the pigments before application.
We fully understand your disappointment, especially when the goal is a discreet and localized repair. It is precisely for this type of situation that we recommend, when possible, a broader recoloring of the element or resorting to a color made on a sample, the only method allowing adaptation to the actual and current shade of the leather.
Regarding your question, SOFOLK does not offer custom dye packaged in aerosol. The available aerosols are intended for standard uses and do not allow the same level of precision as a shade applied in a controlled manner.

This phenomenon is generally due to insufficient surface preparation or the presence of grease in some areas. Natural fat prevents proper adhesion and drying of the dye, thus causing the sticky feeling.
To resolve the situation, we recommend that you:
Thoroughly clean the affected areas with the Sofolk Sebum Cleaner,
a powerful degreaser specifically designed to eliminate ingrained grease.
If the leather is heavily contaminated, complete the treatment with the Absorbent Sebum Powder,
which works deeply to absorb residual fats.
Once the leather is perfectly degreased and dry, apply the Sebum STOP
to permanently eliminate the sticky effect and restore a healthy surface before any touch-ups.

Direct plastic paint of very good quality, the adhesion and flexibility tests are quite satisfactory. (plastic PP EPDM) It's a pity there isn't more technical information on the application: applying thin layers is recommended, impossible without the addition of an acrylic thinner, which requires viscosity tests and thus consumes product.. Impeccable packaging! Delivery time of one week is a bit long but it's a custom color so it's acceptable.
