Regarding the repair paste: the difficulty in removing the excess is most likely due to a layer applied too thickly at once. The product should be applied in 2 to 3 thin layers, allowing it to dry well between each — if applied too thickly, it hardens on the surface before drying deeply, making sanding nearly impossible without it peeling off in chunks, exactly what you encountered.
Regarding the shade: as you pointed out, achieving an exact match from a distance remains delicate without a physical sample or RAL reference — that’s why we offer a custom shade service based on a sample you send us.

Thank you for your feedback. Choosing a shade remotely is indeed delicate: the rendering of colors varies depending on the screen, lighting, and photo, so relying solely on the online color chart or a photo does not guarantee an exact match.
For a reliable shade, the best solution remains sending a physical sample (we then create a custom shade from it), or alternatively the RAL color chart with 216 colors, which is more precise than the paper color chart.

Following the refurbishment of my car seat, I was missing several layers of varnish to finish the job. The order went very well and the package was delivered to me in about ten days. The only complaint I can make is that the dye ordered some time ago is not the color of my seat, despite the leather sample sent. At least it was supposed to match the original color, but today the color of the seats has slightly faded and the color no longer matches. Too bad.

Tested recently. I applied 3 coats of dye and 2 of varnish. Seems to do the job ... to see over time! Defect: super liquid, even when protecting the surroundings, the dye applied with a fine brush seeps everywhere... and smudges

The development and delivery times are very long and communication is rather limited. This creates some misunderstandings if used professionally. The color development is NOT accurate, so I recommend asking for a verification photo.
