Dogs and cats are delighted with the tasting experience of these kibbles! Used initially as a reward for a young dog in training and as 'prey bait' hidden in my cats' toys, I saw their satisfied reactions and their amused and joyful predator looks! Their attitude and attraction to these kibbles say a lot about the quality and thus meet their nutritional needs with, as a bonus, a more than satisfactory environmental impact for our planet. I recommend to all those who are still hesitating, as I was (oh yes, the human being always has prejudices about novelties!), to let their companions try them. They will realize the excellence of this innovative idea for which we can only congratulate its creators and their team! Thank you for their work that needs to be encouraged, by spreading as much as possible the satisfactions you will have from giving this 'good' food to your companions. Also think of the animals we save from mistreatment in certain industrial farms... The insects certainly do not share my opinion, but I am sure they are treated with respect for their contribution as raw material! So, a big thank you and all my congratulations to TOMOJO for their approach, the work of a whole team that works for animal welfare and the planetary environmental consequences that this implies. One question comes to mind: when will there be a formula adapted for us?

Ecological kibble with a perfect composition! Our cat loves them. Little tip for those whose cat doesn't like them immediately: we are a foster family for cats and receive many at home. Since we cannot change kibble for each of them, we immediately put them on Tomojo kibble: some jump on it without any problem, others need more time. After a maximum of 2 weeks, even the most reluctant cat eats with pleasure! Patience conquers all. Really well done to this brand for its commitment and great customer service by the way.

I started with a 2kg sample for my dog Moga, a 4-year-old male Eurasier (neutered) to test. We give it to him as a treat and he loves it!!! Every time we open the package, he drools in advance. I am very happy that my dog likes it because beyond the quality aspect of the recipe, I am charmed by the ethical and ecological approach of the brand. We still had stock of his old kibble that we will finish, but after the transition, we will definitely switch to full TOMOJO! It's a very nice discovery, healthy for my pet and for the planet. We indeed wish to substitute it with insect oil: however, we are still experiencing some difficulties in incorporating it into our production chain, but also in sourcing it: we are counting heavily on the development of the French entomoculture sector which is starting to take off.

I am very interested in this initiative to convert my little girl to insect kibble, while searching a bit I found this brand Tomojo! I was very curious about the concept and was looking for more environmentally friendly kibble. My cat completely rejected them, despite our attempt at a gentle transition. Moreover, this kibble is too rich in carbohydrates and in my opinion, the nutritional display lacks transparency for a company that claims to be 100% honest. More info on the blog "Hard to Swallow". I am looking for another brand of eco-responsible kibble. No way to go back to conventional kibble anyway.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that your experience did not go as planned! The composition of our kibble is indicated on our packages as well as on our website. You will find the ingredients, analytical constituents, and additives present in the kibble. Transparency about our products is therefore total as you also find the detail of the carbohydrate content of our kibble which seems to be a problem for you. Regarding carbohydrates, they are essential for your cat's health, there are 3 types: - The first, digestible sugars, simple like glucose or complex like starch (long chain of glucose) with slow assimilation. Without glucose in the diet, one can live thanks to a metabolic process of production from certain amino acids (called gluconeogenesis), but it is very costly for the kidneys and liver. - The second, insoluble sugars also called dietary fibers, are celluloses, hemicelluloses, pectins, gums, and mucilages. These carbohydrates will not be digested by carnivores, they are not sources of nutrients. However, they are absolutely essential for the very complex functioning of the digestive tract, particularly for its interactions with the intestinal flora and maintaining this flora at an appropriate level. - The third, associated carbohydrates, represent a very small fraction but are just as essential, we find them in certain plants and in yeast membranes. They play a role in nutrient absorption, help balance the intestinal flora, and stimulate the immune system. We know them better as fructo-oligosaccharides, manno-oligosaccharides, inulin... Therefore, kibble with too low a carbohydrate content would be dangerous for your cat. The carbohydrate content of our kibble is therefore adapted to your kitty's good health and we are even well below the maximum rates allowed by FEDIA. Finally, regarding the dietary transition, it is important to mix your cat's old kibble with its new ones to gradually get it used to its new diet over two weeks. Order: good information and delivery despite the lockdown. My dog has been eating this kibble for a few weeks with appetite (but she eats everything with appetite, it must be said). Her stools are good, she seems to smell less (she had very smelly gas, apparently it's less or no longer the case) and the kibble smells better (less strong) than the previous ones (Royal Canin...). Good impression so far. To be continued!
