The idea is interesting to promote the use of insects more than other animals but in reality, the products still contain them (resting by email and other products) which disappointed me regarding the communication about it. My puppy didn't like the kibble too much either and they were a bit small in size compared to other brands including one that is completely transparent in its commitments from the start and 100% insects that we have adopted.

As I mentioned in my email, it was an oversight on our part, which we corrected as soon as you informed us. You can see on our website (especially in our FAQ) that we do not hide the presence of hydrolyzed animal proteins in our kibble, it is indicated in all our product sheets. There was no bad intention on our part and I am sorry that you took it that way, even after seeing the response to your email.

Excellent products. The treats and kibble have been appreciated by the cats. As for the dog, she loves the treats, the kibble is to her taste too, but slightly too big, so she has trouble chewing them. It's a shame there aren't several size options for kibble in the dog range.

I am extremely disappointed. My cat absolutely cannot tolerate these kibbles. At phase 1 of the transition, my cat was vomiting even though there were only very few of these new kibbles. Given the other reviews, I see that this is a recurring problem. I don't understand why nothing is being done to solve the problem.

We have made the decision to choose paper packaging (and not plastic) so that our entire process, from the production of kibbles to the moment you receive your package at home, works in favor of sustainable development. Regarding the packaging, this necessarily means that we take the risk of having issues, like the one you mentioned. In summer, we encounter sealing problems at the top of the package, which we have reported to our supplier. When you notify us, we certainly find a solution (usually sending a new package). Our treats are more expensive than average because insect protein is 4x more expensive than traditional meat. Oh no Corinne ?? We have two recipes for cats: one without cereals and another with sorghum. If your cats didn't like the one without cereals, I can send you samples of our sorghum kibble to see if they prefer this one! The problem may also come from the dietary transition; you can try to make it last longer. It is very important for animals that are not familiar with insect protein and can turn out to be longer than expected for some animals. Regarding the price, our kibble is indeed more expensive than average not only because it is of superior quality but also because the cost of the raw material, the insect, is currently up to 4 times more expensive than traditional proteins.

Our kibble has a very good digestibility rate because insect protein is highly digestible and we include ingredients in our recipes for the digestive comfort of animals: fiber intake, prebiotics, highly digestible single animal protein. Moreover, the extrusion process, which is a controlled cooking (temperature and pressure controlled), improves the digestibility of the product due to its conversion into an easily digestible form of the components of raw materials, both of animal and vegetable origin, as well as the complete disinfection of the food.

The price per kilogram of insect is currently 3 to 4 times higher than a similar quality of meat. The main reason for this is that insect farms have had to make serious investments in machinery to properly raise the insects.
