This is explained because insect farms have had to make a lot of investments in machinery to be able to properly raise insects. We are confident that in the future the price will drop to be cheaper than that of meat. Today the price of insect per kg is 3 to 5 times higher than a similar quality of meat. Nice approach. Fast delivery and my cat appreciates them. The only downside is the shape of the kibble. My cat chews them and leaves half because he can't 'catch' the rest. Would a different or smaller shape be better?

The cat kibble arrived well, however I cannot give a really useful review because I don't have enough hindsight. You know it takes time to adapt and it's a bit long. Great packaging, ethical behind it too! I was really happy to test Tomojo with my cat! I had no issues during the transition, but unfortunately I don't know why at the first bowl with only these kibbles my cat vomited everything TwT He did not tolerate them at all! In terms of taste, they seemed to please him but his stomach did not accept them TwT. I will see if I can use them as a reward to avoid throwing away a new bag!!

A good idea....but unfortunately our two tasters, our 3-year-old cocker and our 12-year-old cat turned their noses up at the kibble and treats, it was our evening visitor, a young hedgehog, who took advantage of it and really liked it. Too bad....

Hello, the kibble is great, unfortunately the shipping costs are very high considering it is announced as 2 working days for 7 € and in the end it arrives after 5/6 working days like a normal package. There should be an option to choose your shipping method as express (real chronopost) or normal. Have a nice day.

I am still in the middle of transitioning from regular kibbles to Tomojo kibbles. I don't have enough hindsight yet that's why I'm removing a little star. But my cat seems to appreciate them. She shouldn't be reluctant to switch to 100% of these kibbles. However, I noticed that the composition is not completely free of animal products (duck fat and hydrolyzed animal proteins), but it is probably essential for the nutritional needs of our animals. I am still clearly happy that there is this more ecological alternative and I applaud the project. Thanks to them and thank you for the planet.

However, you raised a very interesting point: the duck fat contained in our kibble. The incorporation of duck fat (which comes from the southwest of France and is sourced from non-fed ducks) is a lever for improvement for us in 2020. We indeed wish to substitute it with insect oil: however, we are still experiencing some difficulties in incorporating it into our production chain, but also in sourcing it: we are counting heavily on the development of the French entomoculture sector which is starting to take off. My cat loves it, but... I'm afraid of only giving him carbohydrates.. Let me explain: at first I was seduced by the organic, eco-friendly side, I wanted to give him exclusively these kibbles.. but I looked closely.. and there are too many carbohydrates while a feline in the absolute eats prey of which, in the gastric system, we sometimes find seeds, fruits... but in very small quantities!!
