Sorry for that, indeed it is not common for us to refund by check in Switzerland and my colleague must not have thought of the different currency. Can't your bank still cash and convert directly?
It was only about shipping costs so nothing very serious given the low amount. I think the simplest thing, if you can't cash it, is that we keep the amount to deduct from your next order. Obviously only if that suits you otherwise we will find a better solution.
I will ask my colleague to get back to you upon her return from vacation so that you can discuss together.

One third of the batteries of the sensors were discharged causing false alarms upon activation.
Check the proper charge of the batteries during installation and everything will be easier.

Please know that your installation can be (greatly) improved to resolve this.
1) make sure your detector is positioned at 1.60m and parallel to the ground
2) position your detector at an angle of about 45° (like a speed radar) and, if possible, slightly set back from the path (2-3 meters)
3) the sensitivity of the detector can be modified (low and high position, in the trap of the detector at the back)
4) if necessary, do not hesitate to open the horizontal angle of the cover to cover a larger passage on your driveway
Customers who follow these instructions generally achieve an installation that detects all vehicles passing.
