The range is shorter than claimed. The default sound needs to be dog barking but it is door bell. So if the electricity is briefly off when away, it will go back to door bell and defeat the purpose. The dog sound is okay

Dear Sir Many thanks for your review and sorry to hear that the product does not seem to achieve the range as advertised. With these units, there is an option to change the sensitivity settings. Positioning of the unit can also be key to achieving range and hopefully we will be able to advise or give you some pointers if you are uncertain on best set up scenarios. Unfortunately the default alarm/warning chime is not the dog bark and we will pass your comments onto the manufacturer.
