Been looking for a long distance CCTV camera for a while, and google came up with Ultra secure and i found what i was looking for, connected it and fitted it. I appreciate that it isn't directly Ultra Secure's fault but the delivery service from DPD was appalling. It took DPD 3 attempts to deliver my order. Ultra Secure promised to phone me with an update on 2 occasions but they didn't. I can't recommend buying products from this Company.

Dear Sirs We are sorry for the delivery problems, however the UK had just experienced the first big winter storm of 2024 which created havoc on the roads due to many Floods & Snow cover. The Couriers were for a couple of days battling hard to get back in control, and their communication was also suffering as they tried their best in the challenging conditions. The product is fine. Your delivery service is not. Your couriers DPD failed to deliver twice despite the fact that I stayed home all day on both days when they said they would come. They simply didn't bother and made no effort to contact me. The only way I could get the item was to request a delivery to a local pickup point. Hopeless and useless. You should use another company.

All quite good, but I had to call them and ask where my parcel was, and was told that they were waiting for an item to come in to complete the order, personally, I think that they had missed my order, because the next day, I was informed that it had been posted, so why did they not inform me that they were waiting for an item, and there would have been no need to contact them.

It doesn't connect to the phone, there is no voice prompt and no ding noises. It does not come with sufficient cable and no extention cable either. Total waste of money.

dealing with UltraSecure is fine but the standard of the product has fallen .It could be that this product is now produced by a different manufacturer and there is no quality control. I say this as the unit I have just purchased sounds like a cat being strangled .

The units are still from the same manufacturer but there have been some component parts changed to improve the product and longevity of use. The tones have changed from the original receiver but hopefully there is a beep, or melody that will be ok, but failing that, please return the unit and we can investigate and compare etc Alternatively, if you are not entirely happy, if you would like to return this receiver, we can look at replacing it with the Triangle receiver (slightly different sounding) version for you. Serious company with excellent support and available advisors.
However, there is a lack of a customer area with order tracking and history; you place an order but without creating an account, which is surprising nowadays. But this does not prevent excellent tracking at the delivery level and ultra-fast delivery.
Regarding the equipment, I am talking about a specific range and do not question the quality of the other materials they sell. It concerns the Ultrapir range; remote control too sensitive (do not put it in your pocket) + poor contact at the battery level on some remotes + the supports for the detectors are of mediocre quality, unsuitable for the weight of the detector (too bad, this was already the case in 2016, during my previous order, and it has not been corrected). Otherwise, in terms of operation and detection, nothing to complain about, and that is the main thing.
But overall, it is a serious and trustworthy company that I highly recommend.

I have a problem with the intercom from day one I have had lots of emails with the technical department and they can't resolve it and want me to return and pay for the return postage for test and possibly repaired the company will not supply a replacement

We are sorry that you have experienced some difficulties with the system and our technical department have been working hard to resolve the issue, unfortunately they haven't been able to ascertain the required information with regards to the fault and would need the units returned to us so that we can investigate the reported issue. In this instance, we would require the units to be returned to us, if you could arrange the return at your convenience, once we have the units back, we would be in a better position to advise whether there is a fault, or whether a repair or replacement was needed. We would cover return costs if the unit was indeed found to be faulty as reported and not damaged/ misused during installation. Unfortunately, we would be unable to send a replacement unit, especially without knowing fully the reason for the reported fault or refund the units without first having the units back. I've read the operation instructions cover to cover multiple times unless I've received a pup I can honestly say the security post locking arrangement must be the worst mechanical design possible. Absolutely frustrating and unworkable system possible nobody will ever convince me to recommend this security post.

We have sold many of these posts with this locking mechanism and we normally receive comments with how simple and easy to use the post and lock are as opposed to unworkable. Once you lift the post upwards, the handle should be push back to engage a securing pin to ensure the post stays in the upright position. The lock is then simply pressed down to secure the post into place. The keys are not needed to lock the post in position, the keys are only used to unlock and subsequently lower the post. I can see from the order details that you had the DA600 door alert with flashing strobe system, and although the receiver does have adjustable volume, it may not be loud enough in a noisy environment but it would be possible to connect a buzzer or siren to the receiver (similar to the flashing strobe). Help before I bought the product was superb. The product itself is fantastic and does what I hoped it woild do.
However the written instructions that came with it, could be improved. The writing was too small so very hard to read. Also there was a sheet wth another unrelated product that confused me.
I had a little trouble setting up the alarm and understanding it so phoned for help. The pjone wasn't answered and after a day or two I got a personal email with detailed instructions.which I followed successfully. I was hopo g for a phone call but it didn't happen.

Reasonably okay for the price, But
PIR sensor only works for up to 2m, so had no option other than to install covering the doorway -shed is 5m x 5 m.
Assembly sketches don't reflect the actual appearance of the step main bits of kit. As a result it took me some time to figure out that the pieces had to be paired locating the pairing buttons was a pain, but got there in the end.
Would have expected better for the money.
