You have to be careful about many things: 1/ just because the product looks visually similar doesn't mean it's the same, you would be surprised by the differences, with us you know what you are buying, no risk 2/ if you buy on eBay or elsewhere, do you really know who you are buying from, and in which country? How do returns work? Refunds? Warranty? 3/ we are a French company, with taxes, VAT, charges, yes we have to make a margin, otherwise you wouldn't have competent staff behind capable of answering your questions (which you have done several times after your purchase), and this without additional costs (again, how does after-sales service work with these other companies?) We make it a point to serve all our customers until their total satisfaction, this is something important for us in our daily work. We always strive to ensure that packages are received in good condition and sealed (I think the different layers of tape attest to that), but sometimes during the long journey, damage can occur. However, as you have seen, we protect the contents very well (polystyrene, etc.) to ensure proper functioning upon receipt. In the case where we take responsibility, we replace what is necessary.

Indeed, I confirm that this is a product meant to be used indoors and not outdoors. No misleading advertising at this level. We even advise against placing it outdoors, otherwise the product will probably not function correctly and will have a limited lifespan.
The sound gets lost outside? I don't quite understand, but I reiterate, the product is to be used indoors.
The remote control, like any remote control, should be handled with care, but it will work very well. If necessary, it can be purchased as a spare part.

Regarding the price, this product is extremely well priced, do a little comparison on the Internet. Especially considering the autonomous functions it offers, which is exclusive for this type of product. Average price of an equivalent: between 200 and 400 €, and without autonomous proposal.

I am very sorry you are not getting the expected range on this product at your site, we regularly test these products in an open air location and nearly always get 700 metre operational range, in all weather.
All manufacturers of Wireless Equipment have to measure operating distances in open air because it is impossible to know what obstructions or unseen interferences could come into play in any location.
Unseen interference can come from many objects and quite possibly from a neighbouring property.
If you want to return the Handsets for us to test, we are happy to do this and obviously should we find a technical problem we would replace the part.
Once again we are sorry you are not getting the expected operating range from the system.

Regarding the 'spacers', I am sorry, I do not understand. As my colleague indicated to you on December 19, depending on your installation, you needed to raise the door contact due to the fact that you have a shift. However, this is not something that is provided, I cannot understand what your son-in-law had more.
