I liked the product. It was programmed for me in advance but for different zone - I bought sensor for leakage and the sensor was programmed for Entrance zone. The programming manual is quite confusing - generally programming is not user friendly enough. The SIM card compartment is proper only for old dimensions of SIM card and this created a problem for me to find out an old mobile phone in order to register the new bought SIM card. Anyhow, product worked perfectly during the tests, so I hope I can rely on it for the purpose it has been bought.

I have used this company before for some alarm equipment, response is good. However I recently ordered some sensors (PIR's) for the alarm. I received them and notice how annoying they are to put together as regards mounting to a wall. Rather than just clipping to a mini wall stand, you now have to open up the PIR, then annoyingly you have to remove the entire printed circuit board (PCB) to be able to drill a hole, to put a screw to mount it to the wall mount they supply ! You then have to carefully re-fit the PCB. Absolutely ridiculous to say the least.
This is a very POOR DESIGN that they should not sell - all you need is a basic 'clip-in' stand that should already be mounted. A customer who pays nearly £20 for one PIR should not be expected to do this work! They -USD- should do it or buy a decent design in the first instance. All you need to do is make a simple error and the PCB could break when you remove / put it back, and of course they will say its 'your fault'.
Not impressed and I purchased 5 of these PIR's that will take ages to install because of its very poor design.

Please do not remove the boards in the PIR's for the installation, this is not required, all you need to do is drill a single hole in the plastic case below the board (where there is a recess in the case), you then feed the long screw through the adjustable mounting brackets, it is a very quick process. I ordered the Power Failure alarm (for my fridge freezer) after buying a cheap Chinese made one for £15 where it failed after 3 months and was poorly built.
Early days for this one through UltraSecure, but for the expensive price for what is a simple piece of electronics, It had better last a life time (with occasional battery replacements.
I am so surprised this seems to be a niche market with very few other options out there, even with ScrewFix and alike. Perhaps that will change and the price will come down . . . or UltraSecrure supply to ScrewFix or similar.
Am now a lot more at ease I have this alarm installed now.

Sorry for this inconvenience, this is obviously not normal.
Did you install the detector correctly as indicated in the manual?
Aim 2 - 2.50 meters from the ground, or possibly tilt the head of the detector very slightly backward, to look higher.
Moreover, sensitivity adjustments are possible on this model, and this will affect the detection distance.
Finally, all this may be related to the reset delay, which is originally 5 seconds, but can be configured to 3 minutes. Perhaps you modified it without paying attention?
This results in a triggering, then a reset time without any new triggering possible.
You pass in front of it continuously, without it triggering, then after the time has passed, it triggers again. You feel like it’s because you got closer, but in reality, it’s simply that it was in reset during that time.
Of course, if nothing resolves the incorrect functioning, then the product will be exchanged under warranty.

The sound volume of this siren is indicated at 90db in your product sheet, and I confirm that this value is indeed measured at the factory. However, the perception of sound can vary; yes, everyone is more or less sensitive to it. 90db outside, which cannot be heard inside, will depend on many parameters (nature of the walls, windows, direction of the siren, position of the siren, number of obstacles to cross, your position in the house, your hearing quality, ...). Outside, it will be heard, and that is indeed the goal, to deter. Accessories exist to receive a chime or a siren simultaneously inside the house; this seems to me to be the right solution.

Hello, Sorry for this inconvenience, which is obviously not normal. The supplied batteries are new (used only for commissioning and pairing your kit). A functioning of only eight days would represent a considerable number of continuous triggers, but did you do a lot of tests? It seems to me to be an unreachable level, even testing 24/7. It is possible that one of the supplied batteries was defective, it is rare but it can happen. Or, more likely, a defective siren? Keep us informed if this happens again and we will probably proceed with a warranty replacement. Regarding the range, you are probably talking about the remote control which unfortunately has a rather short range in this range, this information is indicated in the product sheet. From experience, here are the reasons why calls/SMS are generally not sent on this product: 1- SIM card PIN code not removed: this is mandatory 2- SIM card not activated: we invite you to test it in a phone and validate that it can call and send an SMS 3- Number(s) not configured in the device: please refer to the manual for this 4- Unexpected delay: during a trigger, the device must connect to the network to make calls and SMS, this can take more or less time depending on the installation location (count between 30 seconds and 3 minutes), during which it is of course necessary not to disarm the device with the remote control. The installation and setup is easy. However, the device does not call, it only sends an SMS. THE SOUND LEVEL OF THE ALARM DOES NOT MATCH 150 DECIBELS AS ANNOUNCED. (the level is below 90 decibels as the noise from my compressor covers that of the alarm)

Hello, If the device sends SMS, it means that the GSM connection is correctly established and it can therefore call. Two possible reasons if this is not the case: 1- you have disabled calls (option #8#, see manual page 12) 2- the SIM card plan does not have or no longer has calling capabilities (credit exhausted for example) Regarding the volume, our sheets do not indicate anywhere 150db. This device indeed emits the announced 130db, but the perception of sound can be quite different (depending on frequencies, age, ear, ...). The little contact I had with customer service went well, I would rather talk about the product, with which I would have a few suggestions to give, which I would have liked to find in its functionality. Like: more short ringtones, (only two or three notes), not having to go through all the different ringtones to find my favorite ringtone, because when you unplug the receiver from the socket, you tend to take it by the sides, and then you mess up the ringtone choice or the volume, as well as the symbol on the buttons which is tone on tone, you can't see it. Clear website, good ordering process and quick delivery. UltraSecure itself was fine and the PIR alarm product itself is reasonable but it annoyingly has tiny fixing screws one of which quickly deteriorated - luckily after a search in my garage I found a suitable screw although I had to cut it down in length. To be honest the screw thing with the alarm needs sorting out - it makes a relatively good product look cheap.

I ordered a KP9 alarm panel that was delivered promptly. It is a good product.
What lets it down is the manual. It has been badly translated from Chinese. A lot of the commands are missing. It takes a lot of reading to get the full benefit out of the panel. Even trying to set it up I had to ring their help line.
The help back up is good and they knew the answers to my question.
It's a pity that Ultra Secure don't re-write the manual
