The Post Office normally has a public service role and should therefore maintain collections and deliveries as usual. I work for a competing company in the parcel field and they did not hesitate to ask people already working for them in other positions to replace absent staff on short notice. The general shape is good, but the material is much too rigid, which forces modifications to the hatch settings and modifications to the seal at the stops, without being able to close it properly. You are considering improving this product and that is a good thing, as the original part was much more malleable (and perhaps also less durable, but oh well)
