As always, the speed of processing the order and the seriousness are there, unfortunately, the package was damaged during transport, which delayed the delivery by a few days. Fortunately, there was nothing fragile inside. Regarding the merchandise, indeed, the tailgate seal is even harder than I thought...

The quality is the same as that which was originally found on R4s until the early 80s, that is to say, much better than that of the tarred cardboard that followed.

The general shape is good, but the material is much too rigid, which forces modifications to the hatch settings and modifications to the seal at the stops, without being able to close it properly. You are considering improving this product and that is a good thing, as the original part was much more malleable (and perhaps also less durable, but oh well)

Response from vehicules-anciens.fr
Jean Marc, indeed, this product is harder. It needs to be done. On my car, the trunk now closes perfectly and I can adjust it again ;-) I installed it last winter. Thank you for your feedback, Martin.

Just a little comment on shipping costs,... With almost 1000€ of order,... I find it a bit high, even if I can understand the weight.
