I'm always satisfied with Vignerons d'exception. This is my 5th order in the last 2 years and this on-line site offers magnificent wines that are not always easy to obtain and that sometimes disappear from the market very quickly because of the limited allocations available. Transport is well managed and parcels are delivered at the buyer's convenience (immediately or at a later date if necessary). I've even been able to combine 2 orders placed 8 days apart into a single shipment, enabling me to obtain free delivery. If you need anything, the site managers will call you back promptly. Sales prices aren't the lowest on the market, and you're obliged to buy in cases of 6. These two parameters should be taken into account, but they don't detract from the good service offered by Vignerons d'exception.

As for your "but", you will understand that, as this site presents the wines of highly respected winemakers, wines that I have all personally tasted and selected, it is obvious that I liked them and therefore that my Thursday newsletter, which I sign and assume responsibility for, advantageously presents these wines, with my comments that you describe as "self-indulgent". The submerged part of the iceberg is all the wines tasted and not selected, and therefore not commented on negatively! Finally, on our site, I very rarely include my own comments, and deliberately choose comments from recognized critics, mainly the two major French wine guides and Wide Advocate magazine, to make the information as objective as possible.
