After ordering products advertised as available, I received an e-mail informing me that out of 5 products, only one was in stock and that I had to wait for a supplier to deliver the others! No information at the outset on the failure to meet the deadlines announced on the site. Announcing that a product is available when it isn't is bordering on misleading advertising... My credit card was debited immediately! If I'd known, I'd have ordered from another site... which I'd probably do now. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

Hello I am still waiting for a package that I ordered on October 3 from 1001 maquetas.es. It is a Nissan GTR that was for a gift. It is a scam. I bought a plane to assemble in the ad it said: Plane to assemble and color with decals included and but paint and glue not included. They sent me with 5 days delay only the decals. I contacted them and after asking me for pictures of the package they were never heard from again. I researched my purchase and found out that the plane I had purchased was worth 230 euros and that they intentionally deleted the messages I had sent them to verify (prior to purchase) whether it was a decals or a plane to be built (their response was that it was a plane to be assembled and built). I after this experience have reported them to the POSTAL POLICE and will not efetuer more purchases with these people.

Under an attractive sign and a site that falsely puts you in confidence, you're quickly fooled 1 product supposedly available and shipped within 4 to 6 days that you're still waiting for after almost 2 months a non-existent customer service (no phone) despite several requests for explanations by email that are only answered by pre-formatted automatic messages advising you that we'll get back to you as soon as possible. We're still waiting""sérieu"! to be avoided at all costs. To top it all off, they don't hesitate to send you advertising reminders for hypothetical future orders, offering you your next shipping costs when they're not even able to honor your initial order. Unfortunately, this rating is very poor. I ordered an AGM 109 kit in the last week of July 2014 and paid in advance. Then the wait began. Although I was able to track the shipment in the shipment tracking system, the last station where the parcel was stored simply did not deliver. I managed to contact DHL by telephone. In response, they told me when I would finally receive the parcel the next day. After seven weeks, I now held it in my hand. This extremely long delivery time was caused by the fact that my surname was misspelled although this was not my first order. Although I had described this problem to 1001modellbau several times, they only ever referred me to DHL, which transported the shipment. Even the cancellation of my order was ignored by 1001modellbau. I am no longer sure whether I will order anything from 1001modellbau again. Andreas

I ordered two kits 2 months ago which were available according to the store and were marked green. I had paid with Paypal and then received an e-mail that the kits were not available and had to be ordered. I was put off for weeks with emails and have now canceled the order and would like my money back. A credit note should be issued but I have still not received the amount back. The store has not contacted me. I am now going to the police and reporting them for fraud.

Hello first of all I would like to tell you my case in case it helps someone to decide whether to buy or not on this website. I have made my first order of models to introduce myself in this interesting world. I placed an order on August 11 for a value of 23845 Euros (a sailboat and some other little things) well the case is that everything was fine until August 13 that they sent me the order as indicated in an email informing me that it would take 5 to 7 days. When I saw 2 weeks later that it did not arrive it seemed strange to me but I decided to be patient and send them a couple of emails that of course they have not answered. I ordered from 1001 Model Kits however my invoice came from 1001 Maquettes. The 7-9 day promised delivery schedule was not met the items advertised as being in-stock were not in stock. Response time for customer service inquiries was 2-3 business days this is very poor. I would not order from this company again nor would I recommend that anyone else do so. I cancelled my order which was never delivered. I did receive a full refund upon request.

Funny story. I order an item that seems to be in stock. I place the order and pay. So far so good. 3 days later I receive an e-mail telling me that the item has to be delivered because it's out of stock. Then a message that the collis has arrived at 1001maquettes. 7 days later 3 messages that the collis has been sent and that the tracking nr will be sent again. 4 days later still no nr. I contact customer service who confirm the shipment and the trans[carrier. They told me that the tracking number was not available. So I contacted the carrier by e-mail and in less than 30 minutes I had the number and confirmation that the shipment had not been made on August 4 as announced by 1001maquettes but that the collis had been given to the carrier on August 6 to arrive at my house on August 8. So I'm wondering about 1001 maquettes' adherence to deadlines and the camouflage practices employed, but after a long wait (3 weeks) I've got my model. By way of comparison, I had to order a piece from another site that didn't charge me for postage (for a collis worth less than the model) and miraculously, the day after I placed the order, I got my collis ... which calls for a certain rethinking of the quality of service.

So everything went wrong. The delivery came a week later than was announced. I ordered 3 1m long wooden slats. These were sent in a 1m x 40cm x 1cm package. This had been bent 2 times. There was nothing on the package. No ""please do not bend"" or ""fragile. The end of the story was that I had lots of small wooden sticks. I wrote a direct mail with photos. Then I asked in ""Lifechat"" what was going to happen now. ""We will contact you when the mail has been processed. "" Sorry but who sends thin wooden strips in such a lousy package? So far there has been no response from 1001.

On August 1st I was told that my order had been dispatched (by Collissimo, which I paid for to be delivered in 4 days). Today, August 06, I still have nothing! For your information, I ordered on a competitor's site on the same day, with a few minutes' delay... I received my order 4 days later (even though they're abroad).
