Bad communication on how long you have to wait for your items.
One of my items came in damaged.

Items put up for sale without 1001hobbies having availability. Prices almost double that of competitors. Response to contacts with much delay.

False delivery date. They delivered 4 days late, without any prior communication of the delay. They did not accept, at the beginning, to return the package and refund the amount. In the end yes, but late, very late.... Very improvable service.

The package received which is a calmato model airplane fuselage turned out to be crushed. After 6 mail.4 phone conversations no reaction from 1001hobbies.Jgn.

The excessive delay in shipping generated additional costs and logistical complications for me to receive the purchased order. I live in Argentina, I bought so that the order could reach a relative in the USA, calculating enough time for it to reach this person before traveling to my country and bringing it to me. The shipment to the USA was delayed, my family member traveled without having received the order, and in the end I was able to receive it by arranging the shipment to my country by another means with additional costs. Furthermore, when I requested the return they wanted to charge me for shipping costs, with the business being responsible for the time it took for delivery.

Order was often delayed without possibility to cancel and get full refund

Good evening, I have asked twice to contact me following a problem with my parcel but nothing!

order partially received...no satisfactory response from customer service who tell me that the order has been delivered and they don't even have the list of what I had originally ordered, everything has been erased from the order history and I'm asked to demonstrate what's missing, the world upside down...no response in 48 hours and what's more unpleasant!!!!...

I still do not know where the goods I ordered and paid for are and they have not been delivered to my address, which is not right.

I would like to be contacted since I have not received any suitable colors for mounting

Poses as a Dutch site and supposedly sends right.... NOT! Had to wait more than 2 weeks for my stuff without being informed.... 1 time not again. Customer service also not best, already starts about not being able to cancel while you only ask for info.

Poor-quality, expensive model.

I did not receive my entire order, they just sent me a voucher for the missing products, without notifying me or even offering me a refund.

they're unable to deliver properly to their showrooms and don't know the products they're selling.

I received my item broken.

Says Hobbies.co.uk.....but are in France and i got shafted for £85 import duty!!
Watch out if buying in UK.....

The instructions are very brief, the components very fragile - in short, it's all gone to waste...

Following my complaint emails, I asked for the sale to be cancelled. Customer service simply ignores customer requests. The only response is silence. I'm very disappointed.

I ordered 2 models of the French Bee aircraft. The delay was very long. But above all one of the two planes was broken a rear wing I am disappointed with my purchase. I therefore give it 2 stars. Yet in its original box!

Incomplete item. Unsealed box Telephone reply: not our fault (well, I'm summarizing, I'm surprised I'm still as calm as ever). Result: rubbish, I should survive for just under 17 euros. Correct delivery. Never order from them again.

Definitely a site that offers a wide selection of items, good prices but, you can't wait two months for delivery. Definitely logistics needs to be improved.

Order placed on December 12 (to make a gift for Christmas), debited on December 13 with as deadline for receipt before Christmas but package received that December 28!!!! I couldn't give it in time and didn't see the person again until January!!!! Very disappointed with the delivery time and I wasn't even warned !!!!

Did not fulfill website promise. Everything was available until I placed my order and paid. Sent within the week after ordering so was not correct, it was more like 10 days and delivery after 15 days. Never experienced so 1 time and never order here again and not to mention the broken packaging ( luckily there was no damage to the order )

A month's delivery time is far too long. Maybe I'll come back to you, but for now I'm not taking the risk of waiting too long. Sorry, I had a big order to place! Sincerely

An order placed on January 05. Messages received on the 15th mentioning "discounts" on a future order without further explanation. Delivery finally arrived more than two weeks later with two items missing. Request for explanation on the 20th. No reply after 7 days. In fact, I guess you have to understand that art is no longer available after the order has been placed.
Why leave unavailable items on the site? As for communication, it's very "average".

I've been a layout artist since I was very young, and now I'm eighty-five, but I've never seen a presentation of such poor quality, without any explanation.

According to the information, it should only arrive shortly after Christmas. I can understand with an order on December 21 that the goods won't arrive for the festive season. But almost the end of January...then at least state the correct delivery date. For the extra charge on shipping, I could have ordered the whole thing just as easily on Amazon and for less money, including earlier delivery.

I ordered 4 products at the end of November in anticipation of Christmas: I only received one before Christmas. On January 20 I received 2 other products. One product is still missing and I haven't heard from customer service. Site to flee. I put one star because I can't put zero.

Package came almost month after ordering. It was incomplete. They had to send the rest of the goods again.

Continued to receive e mails asking me to verify and complete my purchase, even after I had received the item. I was told this was a 'bug' and had been removed, however, I still continued to receive them after this, also an e mail told me the item was coming into stock from a warehouse, even though it was listed as being in stock on their site, not very impressed. I won't be using them again.

Incomplete order, one of the items unavailable... No news, I had to call for several days to get through to someone. The refund was nevertheless made one month after the order...

No news of my order which has been in supply since November.

Shipping costs too high for a small toy and the delivery time is not respected.

Message: Hello, 2 miniatures ordered on December 29, 2023, which were well in stock on the site and after a reminder from me, soon 3 weeks of waiting because a miniature is missing...... Do not put online products in stock that are not....... is incorrect.

1/11/2023 placed an order which clearly stated it was going to ship a week after the order was placed.... 12/01/2024 finally delivered after sending several emails. Reason for the long wait? An item was out of stock and wouldn't come in again either, so instead of sending an email with an explanation, all I get here is a standard email just like their responses to reviews, really sad. Their solution? They put money on my account in the amount of the already paid amount instead of refunding the money nicely. Honestly, I would not recommend this company to anyone, even though the materials are of good quality.
