I placed my order (and was charged for... I placed my order (and was charged for it) on July 25th. As of August 18th, I still have not received it. When I enter my order number in the box they provide to track my parcel, nothing happens. I still have no response as to when I may expect to receive my merchandise. Had I known it would take the better part of a month to fulfill an order for one sheet of decals and two tins of paint, I would have gone elasewhere.

Poor packing allows damaged package I ordered a Porsche 356 Di cast model and it was only wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap. The car itself arrive okay but the packaging/display was damaged. This could have easily been prevented with another layer of wrap or a box and wrap. Not worth sending back as it appear this is the only/last one available in silver.

Ordered on July 2nd and received on the 22nd! One item was missing and the parcel was damaged. After complaining to the after-sales service, the item was returned to me with the wrong reference number (although I had indicated by e-mail that the reference number was correct, but not the description). I therefore received an article that did not correspond. When I complained, I was told, not very politely, that it was I who had given the reference number. I'm not responsible for your problems with reference numbers.

However, the model came from France and the tracking information (translated from French) suggested it might take 30 days before delivery. Contacted 1001Modelkits to ask for clarification and did not receive any reply. Slightly disappointing. The model did turn up, however, a few days later. So alls well that ends well. Frankly inadequate. 9 days to ship a small photo-etched part which was in stock, then 15 days to arrive from Northern France to the UK. So 24 days in total. The management needs to review its procedures. There are plenty of model suppliers out there.
