Received in acceptable time what was ordered with the exception of a small can of paint which will reportedly be refunded. In the Package I found, with immense pleasure, a kit purchased previously and never arrived, probably due to mis-categorization of the warehouse.

Selection is very good, availability is sometimes spotty, not problem of 1001hobbies. Shipping speed is good (trans-Atlantic). Site navigation sometimes not logical or intuitive, but is something that can be worked around without much difficulty.

Good morning, I could not give excellent as most of the Tamya color jars had the color code covered by the second label (30 out of 38) so I lost half a day to remedy the inconvenience. I hope this will not happen again. Otherwise I am satisfied. Thank you

Overall I found the site quite easy to use although some search terms require a lot of precision and the results typed in one way or another differed greatly. For example, when typing "Bf109" or "Bf 109" different products. My particular shipment took a long time to process as one of the items was awaiting replacement. This was not a problem for me as I was aware of it and was not in a hurry. My experience as a customer has been positive and I recommend the store :))

Product received with detached parts (detached wheels). I had to cancel the payment card since it was linked to the shipment a fee to be paid by mail to receive the product.... in the post office to pick up the product I was notified of the non-existence of such tas.

It wasn't clear that something was out of stock. So I would order, end up waiting a month, then have to ask for a credit. Happened twice on the same original order. In fact, I don't think I have ever received the masks for the Revell Wiking seaplane. Frustrating. Plus, the turn around for email requests is several days.

I've ordered before with no issues. Processing time seems to get items shipped always takes a day or two longer than most hobby shops. The first set of r/c bodies I've ordered in the past arrived safely in boxes. This last order had to come from France and the bodies arrived in bare bubble wrap. I was completely shocked it wasn't in a box, luckily there was no damage to the bodies.
Knocked off 1 star for packaging concerns, I can deal with slower processing times since I'm often ordering parts that are long discontinued or hard to find elsewhere.

Apart from the fact that there was no visibility of the delivery date on the order (which was marked "in stock", then "in stock from:", indicating a new date), the product arrived relatively quickly (and earlier than the date indicated following the change described above), and in perfect condition.

Ordered paint specifically as the web site (and my order details) stated it was in stock. Two weeks after order I enquired about the delay, an update was told 1001Hobbies was still getting some paint from their supplier (I.e. not “in stock”). Three weeks after order I requested a refund as there was no progress, but was told that a refund was not possible as my order was now being compiled. Order was finally delivered more than 4 weeks after the order was made (and after I had given up waiting and purchased the paint from elsewhere.). I was not impressed!

The web address is misleading, it seems as if they are a UK company with a .UK address. However they ship from France which, other than the time factor was not an issue due to the low value of my purchase. Had I bought an expensive item, I would have found myself liable to import duty and Vat, adding considerably to the cost
I think their website should be clearer regarding the country of shipping.
