The plate hides the springs of the strato vibrato received is not compatible with a common Squier strat (CXS or SE). Your one is too small to cover the cavity.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. As indicated on the product sheet, this plate is in standard Fender format: 8.8 × 14 cm, window of 6 × 1.2 cm. The Squiers made in Asia use a larger plate with different screw spacing, which explains the incompatibility you have noticed.
