Decent quality spring. Ultimately I found the 1 1/8” length caused the arm to sit just that little bit too high for me, but it did make my rather stiff B70 much more pliable, and at least I had the option to get a diamond cutter and shorten it to the 1” size I should have ordered in the first place. Works perfectly now.

Good quality. One of the best fretwork I have had on a guitar neck. I poorly chose the varnished finish on the back of the neck. If you have the choice, take satin.

Fender Nut Upgrade Review I honestly didn’t expect such a dramatic improvement from replacing and properly fitting the nut, but the difference is huge. The guitar now feels much more alive and resonant. Sustain improved immediately, especially on the G string, which finally stays stable and in tune. Before the upgrade, the old nut was not seated correctly from the side and there was a small gap underneath it. After installing and adjusting the new nut properly, the whole instrument started to vibrate and respond differently. The attack is tighter, chords sound clearer, and bends feel smoother and more controlled. Open strings ring out beautifully and tuning stability is noticeably better. Even the overall feel of the guitar changed — it now reacts more like a professional instrument. What surprised me most is how much the nut affects tone and dynamics. The guitar has more character, better sustain, and improved clarity across all strings. A small component, but one of the best upgrades I’ve done to this guitar. 🎸
