To put things into context, your order was initially scheduled for delivery in Switzerland. You then contacted us to have the shipment sent to an address in France.
We then specified that this change involved the application of French VAT, which is normal for any delivery within the national territory.

Sometimes, some customers think they can avoid this VAT by changing the delivery location after placing the order, but we must strictly adhere to the tax rules applicable to our business.

Every year, we handle several hundred orders to Switzerland without any problems: customs fees and local taxes are always the responsibility of the recipient, as provided by legislation.
In your case, the situation simply arises from the legal framework of exchanges between our two countries, and not from an error on our part.
